  1. Here is our most recent build. More of a purpose built gun with a co-witnessed RMR setup.
  2. I have used their parts. I know the guy who is making the action parts for Wilson Combat, brilliant guy in the industry so I know the parts are good and improve the action.
  3. So in religious context the number 7 is the number of completeness and perfection... I certainly hope that I did the number justice with BA0007.
  4. Check the number on the ejector of G19, if it has number 336, that is your problem. You will have to replace the housing with glock part number 30275. The ejector #336 hits the case too high and causes ejection that bounces out of the ejection port instead of flips out. The ejector on part number 30275 hits the case lower and ejects the brass without coming into contact with the slide.
  5. The complete Apex trigger kit is a great setup for the shield. You can go 4-6lbs in pull weight and the reduction in pretravel/overtravel exceeds 50%. The aluminum trigger is slightly more crisp than the plastic version.
  6. Bob is right. Set fads aside and ask the question, what do you want to get out of your custom 1911. Luckily there is a couple builders local who can fit almost any need and/or budget.
  7. Welcome to Gunsmithing Talk. This is a great area for people to ask questions and to discuss parts, gunsmithing, and troubleshooting. Please keep the discussion appropriate and accurate. As the group grows, there will be local experts who chime in, as well as hobbyists with experience working on different platforms. To get the most from your questions, please provide as much information about the firearm as possible ie. make, model, caliber, ammo used, etc. Please do not post grievances here, this is reserved for discussion about repairing or modifying your firearm, not complaining about it. We look forward to the discussion and leave you with this disclaimer: All firearm repair and modifications should be completed by a competent gunsmith. Manasota Gun Traders and affiliated members will not be liable for improper use, repair, or modification of your firearms. Thank you.
  8. Welcome to the forum Bob. Look forward to some good discussion here.
