You can go 4-6lbs in pull weight and the reduction in pretravel/overtravel exceeds 50%. The aluminum trigger is slightly more crisp than the plastic version. WestMech45 Posted February 4, 2016 Report Share Posted February 4, 2016 I did the Apex and kept the plastic trigger and it is a VERY noticeable difference. Worth the money IMO. pjsammon Posted February 4, 2016 Report Share Posted February 4, 2016 I put Apex trigger and springs in an SD9VE. Huge difference as expected, after all it is an SD9ValueEnhanced. I also went up two lbs on the slide spring with a stainless guide rod replacing the plastic.
