As you have seen, we have upgraded the forum to a more powerful software that allows us to do much more. Below you will find a summary of new features, as well as additional ones we are working on bringing in due time. Facebook Connect Users now have the ability to connect their facebook account to the forum to allow for easier registration. Advertisement Management A more powerful advertisement system that allows us to support our local businesses. Event Management In the near future, events will be completely managed utilizing the forum. From posting to the calendar, to allowing you to RSVP to the event and obtain tickets for certain special events, everything will be managed here. Topic Prefixes You now have the ability to tag posts with tags to better sort items in the B/S/T forums. Articles Section We now have an integrated home page, that articles will be posted on periodically related to the local community and events we arrange. Aegis tactical isn't posting the advertisement. It's forum wide after every first post in a topic. At this time ads are limited to 2 local vendors as a trial.

They are added in automatically to certain forums. It is a mostly site-wide feature at this time we are trialing as administrators. No one is trying to steal your sale, and no one is going to cold contact you regarding the advertisement. Apologies for the late reply. I have also moved this to the help forum as this is forum operations specific.

Just added the permission to delete posts as needed. The report post function is to report posts that are against forum rules, or otherwise need attention from the administrators.

Just going to say that the report to moderator function is not for reporting sale posts that have been sold. Please just leave them as is after editing the topic title. I will be adding a feature to be able to lock your own post after it is marked as sold soon.

As far as I can tell, you cannot completely delete a post. If you go to your post in Tapatalk and click on it, options will come up. Click "Edit." Delete everything and click "Save" in the top right hand corner. It will still show that you posted, but the contents of the post will be gone. This only works for your posts, you cannot delete somebody else's. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I would appreciate it if people didn't do that. If you need a post deleted please report it to one of the admins via the "report to moderator" link in the post. Or send one of us a message.

Tapatalk User Guide Hello! This post will help guide you in setting up Taptalk to use on your mobile device of choice to access Manasota Gun Trader’s forum. The steps are similar for all devices. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask below! 1. Download Taptalk from the apple store, or the google play store. 2. Upon installation, click the search icon in the upper right corner of the screen, and type in, “Manasota Gun Trader” 3. Login with the username and password you use to login to the MGT forum. 4. Once you are logged in, you can browse the forum as you normally would on a computer with some minor differences. Namely, the layout is different. FAQ 1. How do I start a new topic, or reply to a post? a. Go to the main MGT page in tapatalk and select the subforum tab. b. For a new topic, select the “+” icon in the top right to add a new topic. For posts, select a topic and write a reply in the appropriate field. 2. What is the “Timeline”? a. Timeline is a live feed of new posts to the forum. It updates with the latest content posted by members. 3. How do I read new topics and posts since my last visit? a. Select the “Unread” link in the main menu 4. What is the subscribed link for? a. The subscribed link is for specific forums you subscribe to. It ill show the latest posts. 5. How do I view topics I have posted in? a. Click the “Participated” link in the main menu to view new replies to topics you have posted in. 6. How do I mark all posts as read? a. Click the main menu in the top right corner, and select “Mark as Read”

What do you mean by alerts? If you mean for every time a new post is made not likely, and that would get quite annoying with how frequent they are. You can always view unread topics since last visit, and new replies to your own post from the website. It should be available in tapatalk as well.
